I was able to work with our local partners in Egypt to arrange special, early access to the Grand Egyptian Museum prior to opening. The project has taken years to finish, and our guests were able to take a special hard hat tour to see the progress as well as the amazing exhibits. Another time, for our guests visiting the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, we worked with our local partners to bring famous Bolivian artist Gaston Ugalde to the salt flats to do a custom art installation. Guests had gourmet food, and an incredible two-day experience on the Salt Flats with Gaston. It was made complete with a photo shoot!

During a visit to Rome, our guests worked with us to arrange a private visit to the Sistine Chapel. While they knew about the visit, they did not know about the local choir we had arranged to be singing to them as they entered. It was a magical surprise!

Over 25 stops over the course of a 6 week period. That was probably the wildest, but I really love planning journeys to specific regions that incorporate a private jet. For example, travel to South America on a commercial basis leaves a lot to be desired, so using a private jet allows guests to maximize their time and avoid a lot of unnecessary backtracking. It is the best way to explore the region and uncover some unique gems!

All of the guides we work with are fantastic, knowledgeable and highly educated. However, I think one of the experts that we have arrange to work with guests many times—who is incredibly special—is Dr. Zahy Hawass, world renowned Egyptologist. He has been able to act as a guide for our guests and guide them through a behind the scenes visit under the feet of the Sphinx in Cairo. Talk about once in a lifetime!

6. One of the craziest requests I have ever fulfilled is…

Chik-fil-a catering on a private jet was a pretty fun one, but I would say the craziest request (though none are too big or crazy for us) would be the time I arranged a private sommelier in Cartagena at a private rooftop dinner to help guests open three bottles of Petrus 1982 wine they had bought at auction. It was not only a fantastic end to a great trip, but something all of us will remember forever.
