Mark Graham is a geographer, cyclist and professor. He has lived in nine countries and traveled to over 80. Mark recently spent a year on his bike, traveling around Europe, Africa and Asia with only two pannier bags. He finds the best part of long-distance cycling to be the 3-4 ice creams that you can treat yourself to each day. Italy is therefore the place he would most like to return to with his bike.

Mark is a professor at the University of Oxford, where he focuses on the geography of the internet. An author of five books and over 90 academic articles, he has published widely on inequalities in the digital world. His current work focuses on ways to improve the working conditions of low-income workers around the world. He currently lives in East London, and loves spending weekends exploring the vibrant local music scene.
