Chris Boyes is a conservationist, explorer and photographer, and was the expedition leader featured in Into the Okavango, an award-winning documentary covering a four-month trek to save the Okavango Delta. His special interest is in facilitating the baseline biodiversity surveys of the rivers and freshwater ecosystems of the world, having already paddled and surveyed over 5,000 miles of river in Africa. He believes that by coupling science with powerful photography and storytelling, we can help people connect and fall in love with these last wild places and realize their need for protection.
