What is the procedure if a guest becomes ill and cannot continue the trip?

If illness prevents you from continuing, our trip physician and expedition team coordinate local medical care and assist with hotel accommodations (at your expense) until you’re cleared to travel home. The group cannot delay for individual medical situations. Medical and accommodation costs are your responsibility; travel insurance with medical coverage and trip interruption protection typically covers these expenses. You will not receive refunds for missed trip days.
