Andrew Evans is an author, speaker and TV host. A renowned travel writer, he has completed over 50 assignments for National Geographic, reporting live from all seven continents and more than 100 different countries.

Andrew is a contributor to National Geographic, BBC Travel, The Boston Globe and The Chicago Tribune. He is the author of five books, including two bestselling guidebooks and his award-winning memoir, “The Black Penguin.” His latest show, “Hidden Gems: Turkey,” highlights some of the lesser-known corners of a fascinating destination.

Andrew holds degrees from Brigham Young University and Oxford University. He lives in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains and loves to run, swim, hike, dive and knit.
