Gorilla trekking allows you within 15-20 feet of habituated mountain gorilla families, though gorillas often come closer on their own initiative. You’ll spend approximately one hour observing the family group.
Photography is permitted without flash. This is one of the world’s most profound wildlife encounters; only 8 trekkers visit each family per day, making permits extremely limited.
