This trip operates during the Austral summer when there are 20 – 24 hours of daylight. and temperatures ranging from 10 – 23°F (-12 to 5°C). Weather is highly variable; expect wind, possible snow or rain, and rapidly changing conditions.
Waterproof, windproof layering and insulated boots are provided by the outfitter. Detailed packing guidance for underlayers for Antarctic conditions is provided 90 days before departure.
